Privacy Policy
This policy explains what HandwritingEraser collects, why, which services help us run it, and the choices you have.

Who we are
HandwritingEraser (https://handwritingeraser.snipstack.io) is run by Ashley Technology Limited, a company based in Hong Kong ("we", "us"). HandwritingEraser offers a single-image trial. Subscriptions and additional document tools are not yet available.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account email. Passwords are handled by Firebase and never seen by us.
- Early access record: when you joined, how you found us (campaign tags such as utm_source and the ad click ID), the furthest step you reached on the site, sign-in times, and which paid plans you asked us to keep a launch price for.
- Images: images you submit are transmitted to service providers for handwriting removal. Do not upload sensitive or confidential documents. Processed results may be cached by the processing service.
- Usage data: pages viewed, buttons tapped and basic device and browser information, collected through the services below.
Why we use it
- To run your account and early access list.
- To email you when HandwritingEraser or a plan you chose opens, and about important account changes.
- To measure which ads and pages work, so we know whether to build HandwritingEraser.
Services we use
- Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore (Google LLC): sign-in, confirmation and password reset emails, and storing your early access record.
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking (Google LLC): visits, scrolls, button taps, finished sign-ups and launch price taps. For sign-up we send a one-way scrambled code (SHA-256) made from your user ID, never your email address.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms): the same kinds of events, to measure ads on Facebook and Instagram. No email address or user ID is sent.
- Service providers: hosting, security, image processing and caching. Provider retention practices may differ from ours.
Cookies and browser storage
Google and Meta set cookies to measure ads and visits. Session and local storage keep campaign tags and markers that stop events being counted twice. You can block or delete them in your browser; blocking all storage stops you staying signed in.
How long we keep it
You can delete your account and early access record from your account page. The processing service caches processed results with a 15-day expiry; expired results are deleted when checked again and may remain in storage longer. Account deletion does not automatically delete cached results. Provider retention practices are not yet verified; avoid uploading sensitive or confidential documents.
Your rights
You can delete your account and data yourself from your account page. To see or correct your data, reply to any email we send you.
Children
HandwritingEraser is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We will update the date above when this policy changes.
